NOTICE: Ending magazine

We began this magazine in 2002, which was seven years ago. We began very small and grew very slowly as the years went by. Our main goal has been to reach girls, to help them live lives of modesty and chastity and to learn about the Truths of the Faith. We hope we have done that. In the future we still hope to reach girls and help them grow in holiness, but we have made a decision that will directly alter the way we do this. We are ending Saint Maria's Messenger magazine. We will finish Volume 7, but will not continue into Volume 8.

We tried to postpone the magazine several years ago for the reasons of too little subscribers and the high costs of producing the magazine, however, this time it is different. We are ending the magazine so that we are not committed to just one way of helping others.

We will have back issues available to anyone who is interested and we will continue to keep Saint Maria's Messenger website going where we will update it with new and fun features and writings as often as we can. Once we are officially done with the magazine we will get right to work on renovating this site. Check back often for updates or if you have any ideas on what we can do to improve this website.

As a side note, please do not think that because we are ending the magazine everything we did was a waste. On the contray, we believe the magazine has helped both our readers and us grow in ways we cannot even count. It is just time for us to move on, and follow where God leads us next. Please pray for us and pray for all our readers!

Brand New Contest! In our recent issue, March 2007, we began a brand new contest!

Saint Maria's Messenger Game Challenge

Do you have an original game that you play with your friends or siblings or have played in the past? Was it a board game that you made up yourselves? Or was it a game you acted out? Was it some sort of competition between each other? Or maybe it was something totally different? We are looking for the most IMAGINATIVE AND CREATIVE games. We will choose our favorites and feature them in our next issue!

All Catholic girls ages ten through teen are able to participate. We will choose the winners and feature their game(s) in our next issue! We can't wait to see them!
